One of the important issues in the field of evidence for inferring rulings among Islamic scholars is the status of the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH) and how it interacts with the Quran, which has been the subject of different opinions over time. Shafi'i is a staunch supporter of the authority of the Sunnah, especially the Sunnah of the Ahad, and believes in the close interaction of the Quran and the Sunnah. This study, which uses a descriptive-analytical method to analyze and explain the position of the Sunnah in its interaction with the Quran from Imam Shafi'i's perspective, has reached the conclusion that in his opinion, the authority of the Sunnah, based on evidence from religious texts and rational evidence, is a fixed matter and on a par with the Quran, and constitutes an essential part of the semantic structure of the Quran. سنت رسول خدا (ص) از صدر اسلام به عنوان مفهومی که می تواند کلید فهم تاریخ، حدیث، فقه و اصول اعتقادات اسلامی باشد مورد توجه مسلمانان بوده و از اهمیت بسیاری برخوردار است. یکی از مباحث مهم در عرصه ادله استنباط احکام در بین اندیشمندان اسلامی، جایگاه سنت پیامبر (ص) و نحوه تعامل آن با قرآن است که در طول زمان نظرات متفاوتی در خصوص آن طرح شده است. شافعی یکی از طرفداران سرسخت حجیت سنت، علی الخصوص سنت آحاد است و معتقد به تعامل تنگاتنگ قرآن و سنت است. این پژوهش که به روش توصیفی تحلیلی به واکاوی و تبیین جایگاه سنت در تعامل آن با قرآن از دیدگاه امام شافعی پرداخته است به این نتیجه دست یافته است که از نظر ایشان حجیّت سنت با استناد به دلایلی از متون دینی و ادله عقلی امری ثابت و همطراز با قرآن است و جزئی اساسی در ساختار دلالتی قران را تشکیل می دهد.
